The following are the terms of service for MyMindshare. These are the basic rules of the road that protect everyone who participates at MyMindshare.

Rule Number One: The Prime Directive
Everyone is expected to be honest and fair in all dealings with MyMindshare and each other.

Any member who violates Rule Number One can have their account deleted and their mindshare revenue will be forfeited.

MyMindshare staff has sole, complete and final discretion to make any and all determinations with regard to Rule Number One.

The following is a list of actions that may be determined to violate Rule Number One. This is a partial list of examples, not a complete list:

  • Entering false or incorrect information in the member profile
  • Refusal to enter required information in the member profile
  • Creating or attempting to create more than one individual account
  • Accepting mindshare revenue without providing the corresponding mindshare, such as ignoring the content of a bid or accepting a bid on a blank, error or unreadable page.
  • Giving false or disingenuous answers to bid questions
  • Giving disingenuous ratings to bids in order to see follow-up bids
  • Engaging in patently offensive or hostile behavior
  • Refusal to acknowledge and accept these terms of service

Our goal is to make MyMindshare work for everyone involved. We want to make it easy for people who are honest and fair, and make it difficult for people who are not. It is not easy because every dishonest person claims to be honest. That is why we have to give ourselves the power and authority to use our judgement. We hope you understand and support us in this effort.

Rule Number Two: We can change the rules
MyMindshare may at any time without prior notification change rules, processes, requirements, functions and anything else about MyMindshare.

MyMindshare is something new. Every day we are learning and improving it. Sometimes we make mistakes. At this stage we need maximum flexibility to do the right thing, even when we are not sure what the right thing is. We want to be fair, but sometimes we have to make decisions that are unfair to some people in the short term, but ultimately fairer to everyone in the long run. We hope you understand and can bear with us.
